Our Focus
Geography
The primary geographic focus of the Davis Foundation’s grant-making is the Wisconsin communities of Wausau/Marathon County, Door County, Chippewa Falls/Chippewa County, and Plymouth/Sheboygan County. Occasionally, the Foundation supports organizations and projects intended to benefit the citizens of the state of Wisconsin and the U.S.
Grant Making Guidance
The foundation prefers high impact grantmaking to organizations that align with its values, especially capital projects having potential to provide benefits to large numbers of people over an extended period of years. In certain cases, the Foundation may provide grants for operating expenses for limited periods of time to launch new initiatives or to undertake major transformations of existing organizations/programs having broad based community benefit.
