Amanda Sahr has devoted much of her life to fulfilling the Dwight and Linda Davis Foundation’s mission of enhancing communities through quality of life and economic development investments.
As Director of Grant Operations for the Foundation, Amanda manages grant requests, maintains detailed grant records, and ensures compliance on all grant matters in their four target communities of Marathon, Door, Chippewa, and Sheboygan counties. An integral part of the Foundation, Amanda also provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and Foundation staff.
Amanda’s service on boards, nonprofits, and events is distinguished. She was a board member of United Way of Marathon County, a committee chair for Aspirus Women’s Golf Classic, a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters, a member of United Way Women United, and a member of United Way Emerging Leaders. She currently serves as secretary on the Ministry Council at her church.
A 2009 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Amanda majored in Recreation Management and minored in Business Administration.
An avid runner, Amanda completed three Boston Marathons and was the first female finisher in Wausau’s inaugural marathon. She also enjoys golfing and spending time with her extended family. Amanda and her husband, Korey, live in Rib Mountain with their two children, Maddie and Nathan.
